Son of Ephraim and Eliza Baguley of 24, Dalestorth Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield ; Husband of Beatrice Harriet Baguley, of 35, Alfred Street, Kirkby-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. He was tin worker. He enlisted at Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Died of wounds 25th August 1917, age 25.

Buried/Commemorated : Tincourt New British Cemetery, France. Plot I, Row E, Grave 3.

His brother Corporal William Baguley, 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, also fell in the Great War.
