Born at Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Son of Ephraim and Eliza Ann Baguley of 24, Dalestorth Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield; Husband of Lily Baguley, of 6, Pingle Fields, Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. He was a stoker. Enlisted at Sutton-in-Ashfield and went to France 17th August 1915. He was killed in action, 16th September 1916, age 24, in the attack at Guillemont, France, during the Battle of the Somme, France.
