Born and lived at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Son of Albert and Sarah Ann Brailsford of 46 Union Street Mansfield. He was a coal miner. He enlisted 4th June 1914 and went to France 8th September 1914 and was killed in action 20th September 1914, age 19.
